Rajasthan
Rajasthan's only hill station, four hours from Ahmedabad: Nakki Lake, Dilwara's marble temples and Guru Shikhar.
Mount Abu sits on a granite plateau in the Aravalli range, about 225 km from Ahmedabad. It is known for Nakki Lake, the 11th-13th century Dilwara Jain temples with their marble carving, and Guru Shikhar, the highest point of the Aravallis at 1,722 m. It is the classic weekend hill-station trip from Gujarat.
