Gulmarg day trip
Drive to Gulmarg (about 2 hours), the meadow of flowers. Ride the Gulmarg Gondola (tickets at your own cost) and return to your Srinagar hotel.

Srinagar to Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam (about 3 hours), stopping at the saffron fields of Pampore and the Avantipura ruins. Evening by the Lidder river.

Pahalgam valleys
Free day to visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. Local union taxis are compulsory for these points and are paid directly.

Sonmarg day trip
Drive to Sonmarg, the meadow of gold, with views of the Thajiwas glacier. Return to Srinagar for the night.

Will we see snow?+
Gulmarg and Sonmarg usually have snow from December to March, and higher points like the Gondola's second phase often keep snow into May.
Why are local taxis extra in Pahalgam and Gulmarg?+
Outside vehicles are not allowed to some sightseeing points, so the local taxi unions run them. Rates are fixed by the unions and paid on the spot.
